Access violation error - easy fix?

Access violation at address 74E50B09. Read of address 74E50B09.

I get that error every time I attempt to run zMUD. I see the splash
screen, it goes as far as Loading Main Module and then I see that
error, two times. I did not do anything I know of that might have led
to the error - I closed zMUD just like I close it all the time, by
disconnecting from my character and closing the program. I am running
v7.13a on Windows XP.

Is this common, and easily fixable? I've emailed zuggsoft, but if it's just something small that needs to be fixed and someone here can help me, I'd appreciate it.

Try v7.13b and see if it fixes your problem as there was this fix:
"Fixed crash caused when opening zMUD from a non-Admin account using Windows XP Fast-User-Switch"
which is a fix for two Access violations, in 7.13a, in the same places as you describe.

When you download v7.13b the file is just called zmud713 or something by default, so change the name to zmud713b or something so you know it's the latest version.
