Different Characters, same Mud

Hey guys

I really like using zmud, but I"m having trouble with playing with different characters on the same MUD game. The triggers and speedwalks only show up on the first character I made. I don't remember if it was the last version of Zmud or portal, but is there a way to create different character profiles for the same Mud?

Thanks in advance

Well, there's several ways. Settings that will be common to both characters can be saved into an inherited file so there's only one copy. To set these up, open up a new file you want to use as your inherited settings file and move all the settings common to both characters to that file (do not touch the autolog or system folders). Once that is done, click the Character button and edit each character. On the Files tab you can name the inherited settings file to use for that character. Once that is all saved, close down your characters and reconnect them so that the inherited settings are loaded up. They will be available to both characters now.

If that's not what you wanted, or if the settings you are working with will be different for each character, you simply have to create them in the settings file of each character.
