Golte Mud and Zmud |
I use Golte Mud but I can't find any help files on it. It has many similar functions that Zmud has and even has a function to transfer aliases/trigger and all that from Zmud into Golte mud. I was just wondering if someone would be willing to help me out with it since it is very similar (or so I believe) to Zmud.
One thing that I would really like to know is just how to write variables and triggers that have variables in them. These are the command characters.
Seperator ;
Command #
Variable @
Argument %
Prevent ~
Hmm, maybe if someone could show me how to do this simple trigger
I want to set a trigger that will be triggered by "dog is bleeding or cat is bleeding or rat is bleeding" and then I want to input to the mud "kill dog, cat,or rat." As far as I know (which isn't very far, i can guarentee that) this type of command is possible. I just can't figure it out for anything.
Thanks

Never heard of Golte Mud before.
While it might support similar syntax, this is the zMUD forum, for discussing.. uhm.. zMUD, and the answers you'll get here may, or (more likely) may not work with Golte Mud.
That is, if we don't outright ignore you for asking questions about another client on the zMUD site.

I use Golte mud when I need something that takes up less resources. Don't get me wrong, I like to use Zmud as well, I just figured that since they are both similar that you folks could help me with Golte Mud as well as my Zmud stuff.
Also, Golte mud can be carried around with me on a 3.5 floppy so I can use it whenever I go to other peoples houses.
I figured this forum would be THE place to find information

I would suggest you yell at the author to make a help file. If he actually does then you can expect that he won't be improving his mud client for a long time, unless it doesn't have too many features yet.
I can certainly appreciate the desire to have a decent mud client on hand anywhere you go. The best way to achieve that goal is by convincing your friends to install and use zMud. |

A quick check with my favorite search engine turned up the homepage for Golte MUD. The programmer said:
"Feel free to mail any questions."
You can find his email address on his homepage.

Question answered. Topic locked since it does not pertain to zMUD.
