Where did the extra line go after I hit ENTER?

Perhaps this is unique to me but I seem to have lost the extra line that would appear when I would be chatting with characters on the mux I play on. when I enter my sentence I used to get an extra line which would separate my text from others in the room so it would be easy to follow the conversation but that no longer is the case. Am I crazy or am I imagining that this ever was a feature? I cant seem to find how to bring that back.

This probably due to a bad implementation of your MUD of some telnet codes. You can go into Preferences, expand General and disable "Use GA/EOR for prompt" under Emulation to make it behave as it did before.
