help!

I'm using 6.40 and my delete button refuses to work on commnad-line.
When I press it nothing happens. It should wipe the character on the right side of the cursor.
I don't think I have any macros or such which use delete button, but please help! |

Well, to be sure you don't have a macro for the delete key, enter this into the command line:
#UNKEY DEL
You can also check to see if the problem is with your settings by hitting ESC on the Character Selection screen so that a blank window with no settings is opened. See if the delete key doesn't work there either.
