Without a *.Map file how do I import a zone |
Im a little baffled here. I updated to 6.62 and I am tring to repair my map files for multiple characters on a single mud. With previous versions if I mapped a zone with one of my charaters and I wanted to import that zone to another characters maps all I had to do was import the .map file or, if I wanted to send a friend just that zone I could. Now it appears as if the new version does it all in a db format with a single db file for the entire world for each character (that is if I am seeing the the file structure correctly). Is there any way to import a single zone across character files or save a singe zone for export to a friend?

I must have had a corrupted Dd file because the utility did not work the first time I tried it. However, when I updated to the Beta version 6.66 it worked perfectly. Thanks again! |
