Mapper problem |
I've just started trying to use the mapper but my map got trashed. Now when I try to open the mapper window I get an error because zmud cant find old map that was deleted. Cant figure out how to create a new map file now. Prob something simple but I can figure it out.

What kind of error? What version are you using?
If the mapper still opens can you do a "File|New"?

Im using 6.40 on win 98
the error message i get is
c:wotmudWINDOWSdesktopwotmud.mdb is not a valid path. Please make sure the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.
I can not even open the mapper at all. I get this message before it opens. |

The make sure that that file exists before trying to open the mapper. You can try creating a blank file with that name in that directory or create another character, start a new map with that character, and then move the newly created map to where zMUD is looking for the other one.
