Problem with Zmud Mob.lay file

When i open Zmud, an error message now occurs.
Says, Error opening layout file C:program filesZmudmob.lay
I've used Zmud for 2 years and never had a problem with it ever, not even any of the the beta versions..
Every single trigger is now gone all my settings are set back to the default, its as if i just installed Zmud 6.16 for the very first time any suggestions?
(wish i was a Guru wouldnt matter so much i lost all my triggers takes us normal people hours to figure out & write this stuff)
Any Suggestions?
Sorry Just Frustrated 2 years of triggers/scripts is alot to lose :(

what version of zmud are you using. Have you tried following the instructions for fixing corrupt settings?

If you have used beta versions, then you should know to keep a backup. 2 years is a long time to not have a single backup.

I've never needed a back up Zmud has always ran Sweet and Smooth till now...
Hard lessoned learned. i am running 6.16 currently.

Delete the mob.lay file and look in the Properties of all your characters to see if one of them uses that layout file, then disable the use of that layout file for those that do.
Also, are the settings gone, or can you just not see them, but triggers still and fire, aliases still work, etc.?

no triggers no aliases no variables nothing. fonts size and style are all gone colour has been reset to the origonal green..
There is no Mob.lay file in the Zmud directory i see a
Mob.mud and a Mob_bak.mud
but no mud.lay go figure hey. |

Could you have installed in a different directory name?
If you search your entire computer for *.mud files, do you find anything.
