Help making an alias to map custom exits

I've been trying to make an alias that would automatically map a custom exit for me but so far I haven't gotten it to work.

What I'd like to do is have an alias where I can type the enter command followed by a target, and automatically generate a "leave" exit in addition to whatever normal exits are in the area that was entered.

Example:

A Narrow Pathway [N, E, S, W]
Description paragraph goes here
for several
lines.
A small brightly painted hut sits to one side of the pathway.
A dirty tent with many holes in it sits next to the small brightly painted hut.

enter hut

Inside a Dirty Hut [W, Leave]
Paragraph
of
descriptions.
A tired NPC is here waiting to sell you knickknacks.

So I'd like the mapper to place this interior room one level up or down on the map so it does not get cluttered, and include the Other exit (dot) for the leave exit inside, and for the enter exit in the room the hut was in.
So the actual exit for the hut is enter hut and the mapper should save it that way, and the exit is always a normal cardinal direction indoors for interior rooms, and leave for getting out of the indoor area.
Often there is more than one enterable interior area in a room(both the hut and the tent in the above example would be enterable), so would it be possible to have more than one "other" exit defined in a single room?
Anyone know how I could achieve this?

i would use the #MAKEROOM command, to place the room where you want it
the edit the name field of the exit in the room properties window to use the command required

I suppose it could be done with an alias, but i find that this sort of thing is easier to just dig in and do it via the GUI, it only needs to be done the once, and then you can revisit via the keypad.

If I understand correctly, you don't need an alias for this, that's exactly what the MapDir character does (">" by default, changeable in preferences). See the documentation for details. And yes, you can have more than one other exit in a room.
