Upgrading old zmud with elicensing issues without old email address?

Looks like my copy of Zmud is 6.15, and the elicensing has stopped working as per the forum announcement says. My problem is that I bought it in january 2001, and even if I could possibly remember the email address (some home mindspring account probably) it wouldnt exist now anyway. Am I totally boned on this, or is there someway to upgrade to a working version without my old email?

if there's a way, you will need to do it via support@zuggsoft.com or sales@zuggsoft.com. Nothing will be done, responded to, or otherwise given a useful response via other channels.
