Mapping for dummies |
I have no clue how to get started using the mapped, but I'd really like to try.
Can somebody give me a brief, not-too-in-depth description of using/getting started with the mapper, and what the options mean? |

Try reading the documentation on the mapper first and fiddle with it, its pretty inclusive.

I can't. It won't open. It has to do with Vista, I'm sure.

No, the documentation won't until he installs help32... which Micor$uck has up for download.

Bah, I have dig the stuff for building zMud's help out of my archive. Once I do I will build it as a chm and put it up in the zMud files area. I recall a post mentioning updating the links to reflect the current online help locations so I will fix that at the same time (there may be other little fixes or tweaks based on whatever working state it was in when I archived it).
In the final stages of the work I did on the zMud help I designed all the links to actually function by plugging in to zMud's API, and I never tested a chm build with that design. I would have to spend some time testing it; and zMud support is not very high on my list, so I will get to it when I get to it. |

Would be simpler if people just download help32 since it is needed on Vista for a LOT of older software. Besides, how would you make it call the new chm help file from within zMUD's menus?
