Old maps locked?

I've recently gone back to a MUD I used to play and loaded a map I started (but didn't finish). Now it seems when I try to add rooms using the ZMud 7.21 mapper nothing at all happens.
Am I missing something really obvious? Are the exits from existing map rooms somehow locked? When I move no new room is created. |

Do you have Map Creation Mode turned on ?

Also you may need to reconfigure your mapper.
