map zoom memory

How do I make zMud's automapper remember my zoom level? When I restart zMud the layout is correct, but the map is zoomed in way farther than I like.

winxp, amd, zMud 6.4

It appears that you can't. You can try suggesting it to Zugg.

OK; it seems all you have to do is click on the zone you want inlarge it or shrink it to what ever zoom level you want then do the (save as) and there you go. It will remeber the room zoom after that.

But i have tried several things and it does not seem that I am having any problem it always remembers the zone size for me.

Are you also using 6.4? I don't recall there being a save as command (except for the configuration, which doesn't seem to be doing the trick). Another oddity, though, is that saving the mapper configuration produces a very ugly error until the user manually creates a "maps" subfolder.

Yes i am using 6.4 and like I sad I am not having that problem so I made this macro for you to get you right there:

#KEY F11 {#menu {map|file|save as}}

Just copy and past that to the command line hit enter and to use it just hit f11 and enter the mane you want to save it as.
hope this helps

Thank you for the thoughtful macro, but it isn't doing me any good, I'm afraid. Are you also reloading the map each time you play? Do you have to reload the configuration too? Has anyone else gotten errors when trying to save mapper configs in new characters (since zmud doesn't seem to create the map subdirs that it relies on)?
