Saving button states?

I'm relatively new to zMUD, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. Is there a way to get zMUD to save the state of a button between sessions? I've set up several toggle buttons to switch things like channels etc. on and off, but when I quit and restart a new session, the buttons have reset themselves to the up position regardless of the state I left them in. I'm using zMUD 6.34beta on WinXP. Haven't posted this to the Beta forum because I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.

Put a name in the Variable field of the Advanced tab when editing that button. This will create a variable with that name that contains the current state of the button. Whenever the variable changes to 1, the button changes to the down state, and when it changes to 0, it changes to the up state. The variable also gets updated when you toggle the button.
