Help needed! Import/Exporting Toolbars |
I've got quite a large trigger/button/etc system created for the Avatar MUD.
It's contained in a single root class folder, however i'm having trouble export/importing it for other people. Sometimes buttons become corrupted and often the toolbars (panels) are not on the same side of the screen as I chose them to be (they all set themselves to the top of the screen when one is supposed to be on the left and the other the bottom)
In short is there a foolproof way of exporting my triggers etc so that another person can easily import them into there copy of zMud (without needing a large amount of zmud knowledge/skill)
Hope somebody can help!

I can't see how the could become corrupted (what exactly happens when they get corrupted, do they stop working?), but I can see how the panels would be messed up since when exporting a button zMUD does not store the position of the panel but just the number of the panel the button is in. I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about this.

I could see button "corruption" if people with many buttons try and import your buttons and conflict button numbers. Would cause a mess in their panels.
