6.16 Lockups while switching windows

Couldn't find anything on this lockup issue. have had probs with 6.16 where often i may be switching back and forth between aliases, triggers, and mud window, etc. and zmud hangs bad enough to where i can't even ctrl+alt+del and have to reboot the computer the hard way.. reset button.
Any suggested fixes for this? I've done things according to helps with making new .mud files but this failed to solve the problem.

Your not the only one experiencing this problem...
I normally get it just after I've made some major changes to my triggers *lol*
