autoroller request

hi, i've looked through all the autoroller posts here, and i'm having trouble modifying them to work on this mud. Here's the output:

Remember that racial modifiers will affect these values after you have accepted them
You now have : Str : 12 Con : 10 Wis : 12 Int : 17 Dex : 12 Cha : 13
Racial mods : Str : 1 Con : 1 Wis : 0 Int : -2 Dex : 0 Cha : 0
If you want to keep these stats, type keep

any help would be greatly appreciated!

#TR {If you want to keep these stats, type keep} {keep}

Oh!? Did you want some specific stats? Does that line appear as a prompt?

Hehe, evil Vijilante....

Just in case it isn't clear, Vijilante is being sarcastic. The script Vijilante posted will probably do the exact opposite of what you want. If you want us to help you, you are going to need to post some more details.

heh. er, i'd like to set the min stats that i will accept in the #IF statement in the trigger itself. That's about all i'm looking for. What details do i need to include? I'm new at this.

http://www.zuggsoft.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6763&FORUM_ID=7&CAT_ID=1&Topic_Title=Auto+roller+request&Forum_Title=zMUD+General+Discussion

since it looked similar to the output of this mud

#TRIGGER {^You now have ~: Str ~: (%d) Con ~: (%d) Wis ~: (%d) Int ~: (%d) Dex ~: (%d) Cha ~: (%d)} {#IF ( (%1>10) AND (%2>5) AND (%3>0) AND (%4>15) AND (%5>10) AND (%6>10) ) {keep} {#CR}}

Choose your own numbers.

thanks for the replies. Do i just click triggers, hit new, paste that in, and hit execute? That's what i'm doing right now, and it's not working

So we couldn't cheat with sending the keep before the prompt trigger.

#TRIGGER {^Remember that racial modifiers} {#VAR Choice 0}
#TRIGGER {^You now have ~: Str ~: (%d) Con ~: (%d) Wis ~: (%d) Int ~: (%d) Dex ~: (%d) Cha ~: (%d)} {#IF ( (%1>10) AND (%2>5) AND (%3>0) AND (%4>15) AND (%5>10) AND (%6>10) ) {#VAR Choice 1} {#VAR Choice 0}}
#TRIGGER {^If you want to keep these stats, type keep} {#IF (@Choice=1) {keep} {#CR}} {prompt|no_cr}

Maybe that will work then.

oops, i spoke too soon. It's rolling fine, but it won't stop even when it gets the target rolls. I tried lowering the numbers in green to all zeroes, still doesn't work.

Bah, it is a spacing issue. The forum strips away extra spaces when displaying things.

Replace Ton's triger for that line with this one.
#TRIGGER {^You now have ~: Str ~: (%d)%sCon ~: (%d)%sWis ~: (%d)%sInt ~: (%d)%sDex ~: (%d)%sCha ~: (%d)} {#IF ( (%1>10) AND (%2>5) AND (%3>0) AND (%4>15) AND (%5>10) AND (%6>10) ) {#VAR Choice 1} {#VAR Choice 0}}

Have you made any attempt to make the trigger work yourself or do you just amuse yourself by laughing at people who try to help you?

This autoroller assumes you are using method 1. It's designed for cut-and-paste entry at the COMMAND LINE. It is NOT designed to be pasted in after you click Triggers and hit New.
#TR {You now have : Str : (%d) %s Con : (%d) %s Wis : (%d) %s Int : (%d) %s Dex : (%d) %s Cha : (%d)} {#IF ((%1 > 12) AND (%2 > 14) AND (%3 > 10) AND (%4 > 17) AND (%5 > 9) AND (%6 > 11)) {#VAR keep 1} {#VAR keep 0}}
#TR {Racial mods} {#IF (@keep) {keep} {#CR}}

As always, substitute your own criteria for a keeper. For instance, this would look for Wis and Int at 18 or above, and an average of 14 or higher for the other stats:
#TR {You now have : Str : (%d) %s Con : (%d) %s Wis : (%d) %s Int : (%d) %s Dex : (%d) %s Cha : (%d)} {#IF (((%1 + %2 + %5 + %6) > 55) AND (%3 > 17) AND (%4 > 17)) {#VAR keep 1} {#VAR keep 0}}
