Question about Aliases |
Is there a way to make an alias that works with the first three characters or more of the word?
ex. Alias name: laugh
Alias Command: *aaaa*
You can type one of the following to set off the alias: lau
laug
laugh |

technically, no. But coupled with a trigger, you can effectively do this:
#ONINPUT {^{laugh|laug|lau}} {Do_laugh_alias}

Possibly use tabs? Add a tab for each alias you want to work this way, and when you type the first few letters and hit <TAB> it'll complete the word for you.
