Socks 5 support |
I've just noticed that there is no option to connect thru a socks 5 type firewall.. particuly with username AND password support.
at the moment i just use "sockscap" (formerly of NEC now www.permeo.com)
but i thought it'd be better if support was internal..

doesn't everything use UDP at some point tho? what i'm tring to say is..
if i log into the the socks5 proxy server here (using Mirc or ICQ).. i then can access any port number i wish.. (otherise i'm stuck to zero access) even the http access to passworded at the cache/proxy/firewall.
or if i run a program thru the "sockscap" program then i get access to all outside ports then also.
