sounds are implimited within the mud, rom 2.4b6. Im not understanding how to make them work, how within in the mud can you tell it to use sounds, is this an editor thing?, how do i tell a specific room to play a sound? how within the mud can you change the settings within the room..for example, im seeing this!!SOUND(amb/rain.wav V=80 L=-1 P=10 T=AMBIENT U=http://my url is here)[Room 5297]

Check to make sure MSP is enabled in zMUD. To do this click on the Pref's button once your mud session is open, go to Sounds, then MSP General. Look at the checkboxes there to determine if MSP is turned on, whether downloading is enabled, etc.

If MSP is on, the !!SOUND(...) text should make zMUD play sounds. If you gag the !!SOUND(...) commands (another checkbox there), you'll never see them, but the sounds will still play.
