gag from mapper

How would i gag certain things from the mapper?
I only want my room name and exits, showed like this:
Desert [exits: south, east, west, northeast, southwest, southeast and north]
But alot of times the mapper will recognize my prompt:
HP: 758/758 SP: 212/212 E: 406/406 1488>
Instead, I would like to gag the room, because it creates a stacked room and messes up my map horribly, and only have the mapper recognize the room name and exits.

We would have to know your muds output format to tell you specifically. There are a few things you can do quite easily. First is to turn off capturing of room descriptions in the mapper. Another is to use brief mode, if your mud has it, so the mud never send descriptions. Most certainely you will want to look up 2 commands TAG, and NOMAP. A good example would be this.
#TR {HP: %d~/%d SP: %d~/%d E: %d~/%d %d~>} {#TAG PROMPT}
That would tell the mapper that line is the prompt. It is recommended that any use of the TAG command be followed by running the configuration wizard on the mapper. On my particular mud minor lags will cause the mapper to misidentify the roomname. I have KEY5 macroed to detect the more common errors and issue the commands MERGE and LOOK. I would suggest the same to anyone planning on mapping large areas.
