Its the button between the scrollbars of your main session window, marked with a hyphen, just to be clear on what I mean.

It works fine in the main window.
It even works fine on child windows docked on top of the main window.

However, I have a map docked to the right side of the layout.
It does not work at all on child windows that are docked to the top/bottom of the map.

I can't reproduce this... Is it only the splitscreen button that doesn't work for you? How about if you just scroll up? If it doesn't work at all, make sure you have Splitscreen scrolling enabled for that window (Prefs -> Session -> Scrollback).

its the toggle button, i can use the scroll wheel and pageup pagedown fine

Ah a mistake above the map works, but below the map does not
