The default Achaea icon does not appear to connect. |
I have clicked on the Achaea icon to log onto Achaea. It does not connect. I just get the red arrow and the "attempting to reconnect" stuff at the bottom of the screen.
I have checked the details of the connection and they look fine. But Zmud is just not connecting to Achaea. It's not their servers because I can connect over their Java program. Anyone want to explain this to me and help me set this up?
Here's a screenshot of this, I'm pretty mad...

Either Achaea was actually down when you tried or something's wrong with your connection. Works fine for me, regardless of if I use the IP address or achaea.com as the host.

My connection through Zmud? If I can connect through their website but not through Zmud does this mean its on your side or their side? Can you help me resolve this?

It's on your side.
1)Try using the host name instead of the IP. Could be your DNS lookup table isn't updated or something along those lines
2)If that still doesn't work, next try creating a new session and putting in the details in. Sometimes the session will stop being able to connect if it got corrupted.
3)if that still doesn't work, you may have a fully-messed-up sessions database. You'll just have to delete the entire file, let ZMud create a new one, and manually create any non-default sessions you had and reattach all the datafiles.
4)at this point, if it's still not resolved you should start thinking about hardware solutions. |
