(Bug?) %concat resetting variables to AutoType |
When I assign a concatenated string to a variable, it resets to AutoType, even if I had previously set it to string literal. I need this particular variable to be a string literal, because there will be @s in it (aardwolf uses the @ symbol for color codes) but I can't get them to stop expanding as if they were variable references, since they refuse to stay string literals. Simple test code:
| Code: |
test = %null
#call %vartype(test,3)
#show %vartype(test)
test = "abc"
#show %vartype(test)
test = "123"
#show %vartype(test)
test = %concat("abc","123")
#show %vartype(test) |
produces the following output:
| Code: |
literal
literal
literal
auto |
Is this a bug or am I just doing something wrong? |
