%xml
Syntax: %xml(var)
This function returns the XML format of the indicated variable.
Though not very useful in normal scripting, this function would be very convenient when pushing settings to external XML readers. |

Would be interesting. If I recall correctly, the only way to actually get the XML of a variable, currently, is through a parent container's XML.
However, if you're using it as a function to push to external XML stuff, why not include more settings as arguments for it? |

I'll consider that for the future, but I'll probably not use the %xml name since that implies more XML parser functionality rather than converting a setting to it's xml copy/paste format.
