Keyboard keys... changed... while Cmud is open. o.O

Hello.

I have the -strangest- problem. Whenever I have Cmud open (2.37 pro OR regular), my netbook (Windows 7 Starter) changes what input is received from my keyboard. It does this primarily on the right side of my keyboard, and only while Cmud is open. If I try to type anything into other programs, it still does this - it's not only input entered into Cmud. But, again, it only does this while Cmud is running. Otherwise everything works fine. I've never heard or seen anything like it. It is by far the WEIRDEST problem I've ever had using a PC. Any suggestions?

HALP!

EDIT: Found the solution digging through some old threads. Apparently number-lock was on by default, which made everything enter all wonky when entered on my keyboard (which has no number pad). Thanks for looking! :)

User Interface Preferences, Command line tab. Uncheck the Activate NUMLOCK option. What happens is that for the most part applications do not or cannot real-time monitor various properties that they are fully able to toggle. Thus, they just toggle them and if some other application comes in later and toggles it back they'll just start operating based on the last toggle instead of trying to reconcile their own preferences.
