Just a small suggestion: Have the command line, status bar, and window is visible checkboxes under the regular options tab for window settings in the package editor. I've seen a few people accidentally disable their main window and fail to find where to re-enable it. These seem like pretty basic options to me and having them right there in the first tab would make them slightly more available to new users, who are unfamiliar with where everything is located.

Actually, those options used to be in the main window, but that made it too easy for people to accidentally turn them off. That is why the options were moved to the Advanced tab. Learning about how to find the Advanced Tab for various options is something new users just need to learn. These options were moved on purpose.
