[316aB] Problem with Editor. |
I may be missing something, but when I open a variable in the Editor, I get the XML view, and I then have to switch to the Text view, somewhat inconvenient, but acceptable. However, if the VARTYPE is Database record either there is no Text tab and the view is always XML or if there is a Text tab, when I click on it I get what appears to be a String(expanded) view not a Database Record view as the case used to be. While this is still functional, it is hard to edit since there are non-printable characters in these types of variables (the record separators, for one). This also happens with string lists.
NOTE: Sorry for the double post. I just saw GeneralStonwall's post. Same problem as his.
NOTE: I liked the Compile tab. From there I could tell if I was having scoping problems. |

You can still turn on the Compile tab using the new "Show Advanced Tabs" option in the View menu. The issue was that new/novice users don't need to be bothered with that low-level kind of stuff.
