Speedwalking: #STEP problem? |
Hello, everyone. I just got a copy of CMUD, and I'm having something of a problem using the mapper and it's commands.
I've mapped out an area, and am in Slow Walking mode. I've added a trigger to #STEP every time the line '^You see' comes up, because that's part of the exit line present in every room. The idea is to make sure I walk into the next room before doing the next #STEP. The problem is this: Sometimes (but not always, and that's the absolute strangest part) when I double-click a room on the mapper to speedwalk to it, a single direction gets looped instead of the rest of the path.
I'm not sure how to describe it better - essentially, I may click on a room that's 2north+3east+3northeast away from my current position, and instead of going the 3northeast, it'll keep looping east as many times as there are more moving commands.
I know I don't have any #STOP or #PAUSE triggers, so unless there's a built-in one for something or other, I'm at a total loss at what could be causing this. Any help would be very appreciated.
EDIT: Also, I've just started getting access violations, 'at address 00E1F006 in module 'cMUDPro.exe // Read of address 4E4E559C' when doing specifically slow-walking, not safe or fast. |
