[308B] Portals Disabled flag not operational

Setting (and resetting) the flag in the Map Properties window has no effect. However %portalenable(1|0) works. Using the function does not affect the flag display in the window, but I think this was discussed previously and it was concluded that it didn't affect the state of the portals.

I am not able to reproduce this. What screen in the "Map Properties window" are you using? I disabled portals using the Edit/Portals menu option. Also, make sure the mapper is set to Track a specific location. The Portal enable/disable flag is stored within the Location object (so one tracking location can have portals enabled, but another can have portals disabled). So if the map window isn't set to track a location, then the Edit/Portals won't work.

The %portalenable script modifies the portal enable/disable flag for the "current location" (shown via #LOC) in the window that you enter the script for.

Sorry, I meant that I was using the EDIT|Portals... dialog. I just tested it again, and it works as it should. I think the problem had something to do with the objects that I described on the Location Object post, which is why %portalenable worked.

Oh, yep, that would explain it. If the location objects were corrupted and couldn't be deleted like in the other post, then there would probably be all sorts of other stuff that wouldn't work correctly with them too.
