parsing of #alarm arguments |
Not quite sure whats going on here, and only just before I was able to sorta figure out whats going on did I realize or decide I could just use #t+ and #t-, but here is what I ran into.
I have a trigger which i'm using to start several alarms to state when the next group of mobs will appear, because this is on rare occasion, I was planning creating the alarm each time.
| Code: |
| #alarm "1st_wave_ann" {+1:30} {gt Fallen (2x) in 20s, Fallen (4x) in 125s} |
Rather than creating the expected alarm, was creating:
| Code: |
class name="gt Fallen (2x) in 20s, Fallen (4x) in 125s" id="359">
<trigger type="Alarm" priority="3600" id="360">
<pattern>1st_wave_ann</pattern>
<value>+1:30</value>
</trigger>
</class> |
In my efforts to debug this i tried quoted, and unquoted, simpler names, scripts, and times and adding a class parameter, all came with same results. I was eventually able to find two variations that worked.
| Code: |
#alarm {+1:30} {gt Fallen (2x) in 20s, Fallen (4x) in 125s}
#trigger "1st_wave_ann" {+1:30} {gt Fallen (2x) in 20s, Fallen (4x) in 125s} |
So, I believe that #alarm is, incorrectly interpreting how to handle the creation of new alarms with specific ID's?
Can anyone confirm this? |

It only has this problem when the id name starts with a numeral. I vaguely recall a similar problem pointed out a long time ago in triggers or variables or something.

the problem is you cant have any named settings that start with a numeral
change "1st_wave_ann" to "first_wave_ann" and it works. |
