PW protected session |
This bug is caused when opening a password protected session that the focus of the password prompt is lost behind the sessions window. I can't return the password prompt to the front. I cannot escape from the prompt. I cannot close the session window. The password prompt has effectively locked up the program, but cannot be accessed.

I've found that Alt-Tab actually brings the password prompt back to the front.

Hmm, just an odd question, what's the benefit of having a password protected session in a mud client? I've never considered someone else playing my favorite MUD to be a security risk...

For the same reason that any password matters; it's your account, and you might want to protect it. Someone could log on as you and get you killed or steal all your items. Also, some games require a subscription or allow you to pay (or donate) for perks, which you then might want to protect.

I work on a mud. I have building access. Even seeing some of the alias and et cetera of the settings I have developed could reveal secrets which I'm not really comfortable with sharing.

Ahh right, I never use the auto-login but forgot about that. Then again no one else uses my laptop, ever. |
