Any way to change the bright white background Color of the Value box in zmud?

Hi,

I would be very grateful for any information that would help solve my dilemma. I have very sensitive eyes and cannot easily view bright white colors on my computer screen. Most things I can change the colors of, but the pop-up window in zmud that one enters aliases, macros, etc., into, has a Value field which background is bright white, and I cannot find any way to change the color of it.

Does anyone have ANY ideas as to how I could change the color or somehow work around it? I love zmud but it's very hard to add/view aliases/triggers/etc. without hurting my eyes on the bright white background of the Value field. Rolling Eyes

Thank you so much for any help! Very Happy

Nope, unless there's a setting in the desktop/color scheme section of the OS monitor/display properties or a nifty little addon application for the OS/monitor software, the only thing you can do is to adjust the brightness/tint/etc properties of your monitor.

Alternatively, you could make a study out of the zscript language so that you can use the command line, the Editor window, or the import option to enter your stuff. Such a feat might get you noticed for guru-dom, but the window's fading fast if you don't plan on upgrading to CMud.

zMUD doesn't have any way to change that color. However, CMUD has full customization of all of the colors in the settings editor, along with a much more powerful script editor based upon the popular Scintilla editor (used in Notepad++).
