Directing Triggers/Variables/Aliases etc... to one package

So, if I am about to make this general package for my Dark and Shattered Lands sessions, then I'm going to have two packages and I don't know how I'm going to direct some triggers to the general package, and then some to the session specific package. I like to input such things through the command line since it's more convenient, and better helps me to put in a LOT of triggers at once.

What exactly do you mean by "direct some triggers to the general package"?

Do you want some triggers in the general package and some in character specfic ones? That's just a matter of placing the triggers in the right packages.

Do you mean you want the same trigger pattern to respond different depending on the class? You have a couple options. You can have that trigger call an alias or raise an event. You can check to see if you have the character specific packages by using %module.

If I'm off base, let's have a more in depth explanation of what you're trying to do.

Well, when I added a trigger from the command line originally, it went by default to the session package. But I don't know what it will use to determine where to send my other triggers through the command line, etc...

You can use the #CLASS and #MODULE to control where things are made. As long as you have the module already in a specific package the settings will be created in that package.

Although I am not to sure why you insist on using the command format. There are a number of options that can not be set with that format.

With all the errors I'm getting in the command format, I'm thinking I might stop using it.
