So, if I buy zMapper now, am I going to be eligible for cMapper when it comes out, or shall I just wait?

Probably. Zugg mentioned wanting to reward the intrepid fools who bought into that relatively quickly-abandoned piece of buggy software (it was designed to face off against Campaign Cartographer, which is like the Microsoft of the gaming world). CMud Pro might be getting most of its features, though, so if you have that version you may want to wait depending on what you were wanting Cmapper for.
