Weird keyboard problem

When I start CMUD, it scrambles my keyboard... The left side still works fine. But the key "k" gives for example as result a "3" and other funny stuff. Obviously, this is a bit annoying. While CMUD is running the keyboard has that behaviour (also outside CMUD). As soon as I exit CMUD everything is fine again.

Has anybody any idea???

Thanks in advance!

You're using a laptop and CMUD is enabling numlock when it starts. There's a preference for this that you can turn off, but some people had problems with it not saving a few versions ago and I can't remember if it's been fixed yet. Just press the numlock button and all will be well.

Pressing the numlock button solved indeed the problem!! Thank you very much for this quick answer!!! I try finding the numlock-setting. If I have trouble I will be back ;)
