I'm running into lots of One-Session Triggers...

Is this related to the read-only error? I'm experiencing the following issues:

- My void_count expression only works once, after it disconnects, you need to delete and reset for it to work.
- My layout isn't sticking, every time I get the tell window and quest window, I click auto save layout and even lock it, but when I disconnect and end the program, I come back and it doesn't work.
- I set up a #PLAY <soundfile> command for when I get tells, that's not working now either, though I bet it would if I redid it, but it already worked before!

There might be more, those are the most immediate.

What version of Windows are you using? If you are using Vista, make sure you installed CMUD with the default directory settings since Vista is picky about file locations and otherwise you might be getting permission errors that prevents CMUD from saving your settings.

Do *not* select the "Lock Layout" option. There is a known bug that prevents layouts from saving correctly if they are locked. Also, you don't need to mess with the "Auto Save Layout" option either...just leave that on.

No, it's XP and I just did defaults. I only did Lock Layout when the Auto-Save Layout wasn't doing anything.

Should I export all of my triggers and reinstall?

Can anyone tell me why triggers that work perfectly fine, don't change at all, refuse to fire after I close the connection and open it again?

Do you have them in a class that you've marked 'disable class when connecting'?
