floating windows forget scrolling status when zmud launches

I have a script that does #MAKEW WINDOWNAME open "width=30c|height=18c|floating=yes|persistant|scrolling=no"
(btw, why is persistent misspelled?)
The window gets created with no scroll bar, just as I want it. Then I save the settings for the window and save the layout and save everything else I can think of.

Then when I quit zMUD and relaunch it, the window comes up with scrolling reenabled. That's pretty annoying. Is there any way to fix this?
