How to "Lock" the command box...? |
Ok, let me explain what that means because the description is kind of weak. What i mean by command box is the box you type things into. Now, if you hold down shift and hit enter while in the command box,
you will notice that it adds an extra blank line. You could use this to execute 2 commands at once. I am interested in 'locking' this feature because i hold shift by accident alot when i mud and it makes my command
box larger. I do not want it to do this. Any help would be appreciated i know it is an awkward thing but it does annoy the hell out of me :) |

Unfortunately there isn't any way to disable this. But it doesn't really matter...just press Enter again to send your command and the command line will go back to a single line when you start typing the next command. But you really just need to train your fingers not to hold the Shift key when you press Enter. Shift-Enter is different from just Enter in a lot of Software, and CMUD is no different.
