Settings problem

When I try to start up the Settings Editor window, either online or offline, Zmud (and only Zmud) just freezes up for a few seconds before it closes itself down.

I don't have any idea what could be causing this.

The settings file in question seems to work just fine.

This sounds like a corrupted settings issue. Try the method described here to fix it.

I have emailed this question before....and I'm not a coder by any means so I get confused easily.....

Ever since I got my new computer and loaded 7.21 on it, I write triggers and aliases and then hit save....whenever I close the program they disappear....is there ANY way to fix this???

Which version of windows are you running? zMUD isn't officially supported on Vista. If you have it, you need to make sure that zMUD is running as an administrator so it can write files.

Branduin, if you copied your settings over from a cd backup then they will have the read-only flag set. You can check this by right clicking on the folders and selecting properties. Windows will prompt you about changing the properties for all files and subfolders.
