[2.02] Unticking MXP elements does not disable them |
I have Debug MXP on to see unknown tags, and that all works fine to begin with. I switch it on and I can see the unknown tags. I define some tags and now I can't see them. But then I go back and untick the User tags I just made (and these changes are saved), but I still can't see the tags in my MUD output.

The same applies to System MXP elements in addition to User MXL elements. I can't easily test MUD MXP elements.

Also, the fact that MXP elements are disabled is not saved between CMUD restarts.

Saving user MXP elements between restarts gets my vote for a new feature. Although not so much any more, since I'm running off of ATCP instead of feeding it through Mudbot and going MXP. But yeah! Should be saved.

We would need a way to delete them then too (via the GUI). (I don't really mind that the User elements are not saved since I can put them in an OnConnect event.)

It would be very difficult to save elements across sessions. I suggest Seb's method of defining them in your OnConnect event.
I'll look into the issue with disabling MXP events and see what is causing that. And I'll see about deleting them too. |
