[2.02] Mapper sending commands to the wrong window |
I have three sessions running... and I'm only using the mapper on the first one. When I use the #FIND command in that window, to locate myself on the map, CMud sends the 'look' command to one of the two other windows instead of the one I'm in. I haven't quite figured out how it decides which window to send it to, but it's never the correct one.

ok, I know the mapper isn't high on the priorities list, but this problem is making the mapper nearly-unuseable. Not only is the "look" command being sent to the wrong window, but also all the open-door commands are, as well... which, needless to say, cripples my navigation when using the mapper.

The mapper isn't supported when using multiple sessions right now. You can try closing the mapper window, then click on the session that you want it for, and then click the Map button again and see if that fixes it. But it will probably mess up the next time it loads another session. Sorry, but this is one of those big problems to fix during the mapper rewrite that isn't going to get fixed now. Because CMUD handles multiple sessions completely differently than zMUD, the ported-zMUD mapper code just gets confused and can't handle multiple sessions.
Instead of using multiple sessions, try using multiple windows that have their own network connection to the MUD within a single session. |
