Zmud Input Command LIne

Hello,
I have managed to get Zmud 7.21 installed on my Kubuntu Laptop using Crossover Office.
It is licensed and works great except for the command input box.
The text that I type is white on a white background.

I need to change either the text color or the background color.

Could somebody point me in the right direction to do this please?

Thank you for your time.

Andrew

In zMUD got to View -> Preferences -> Fonts.

Click on the 'A' for the Command Input fonts. In addition to changing the font, you can change the color. Save the changes and you're all set.

Hi tech,

thanks for the response, and sorry for not responding sooner.

That did not work.

I suspect that there may be write permission problems on the ini file that has that particular setting referenced.

Do you or anybody know which file to manually edit to set this font?

Thank you

Andrew

It is the zmud.ini file in the Zmud directory. There is a command line section. I did not see a place to edit the font color though.
These are my command line settings from my zmud.ini file.

Not sure what to suggest. Can you describe exactly how you did it? Are you sure you changed the font for "Command Input"? Did you change the text color or just the font size?

Try changing just the font size or font type to make sure you changing the right property?

I know you are running on Kubuntu, but if you get a chance try the same thing on a XP machine. It's possible it may not work because it's on Kubuntu.
