Windows vista and tic timer

I currently use the auction command in my MUD (materiamagica) ^AUCTION: %1 has been sold to %2 for %3 gp. {#ts 15}

However since i got a new computer and it has vista installed, my tic timer seems to constantly be out of sync with the mud.

I have tried adding more tic related events to the triggers to keep it synced more often, but it still gets out of sync within a few minutes.

Has anyone else encountered this? or have any ideas how i can make a work around.

Thanks.

Why not just use the #ALARM command?

#TRIGGER {^AUCTION: %1 has been sold to %2 for %3 gp.} {#ALARM +15 {command}}

By the way, zMUD is not considered supported by Vista. You may want to upgrade to CMUD or install XP over Vista.

Another point: the %1, %2, and %3 in your trigger aren't the way they're supposed to work. If you're not using them for any values, you should just have it:

#TRIGGER {^AUCTION: * has been sold to * for * gp.}

If you ARE using them for distinguished values, then set it up like this:

#TRIGGER {^AUCTION: (%*) has been sold to (%*) for (%d) gp.} {value1=%1;value2=%2;value3=%3;#ALARM +15 {command}}

That is assuming your gp is always displayed in digital format. If not, then use the (%*) for that one as well. It just helps keep the trigger working properly if for some reason zMUD decides to kick in and say, "Hey! %1 is not supposed to work in triggers! It doesn't define anything!"
