Sad Window Display and 'Mark' Problems |
I have done some legwork but have no answers so I will post this.
I just did a clean install and reloaded scripts from text and have these same problems, after my scripts upload this becomes global and effects all new muds I investigate offline.
1. When I open auto-mapper the window itself show menus incompletely, and in the wrong places. If I roll up the window the remap corrects the display, still what could be happening to make this unattactive problem?
2. More seriously #mark and #path commands don't seem to work for me.
eg.
#mark
n
n
e
s
#path shows nothing
However .nnes will send those commands
I am not an experienced mapper so forgive me if I am doing something wrong. I have read and reread the help files. I created directions 4 (n,s,e,w) in 'the directions' folder and '6 (ne,se,sw,nw,in,out) in 'directions dialog' folder. I assigned i and o to in and out and 'other' as the type. I disabled in and out after I saw the problem return. No help there. I suppose I could macro the directions and stringlist my own path but I am impressed by ZMud's handling of this by default. I have executed no personal scripts in the re-install, though I did load ACP LE, though the mapper displayed correctly after that install.
Thanks if you have any clues or suggestions handling this situation. |

I think maybe I can't assign i and o to directions. I deleted everything and created the directions from scratch without that. seems ok so far. now to see if it is the mere uploading of my silly scripts

I did another install, even deleting the zmud folder. I do need all the files I have created, even if they are the problem or not, perhaps it is windows xp set in some unexpected routine where it tries to calculate pi and has no time for automappers. Mark and Path still get me nothing, but hey, let me see what does work, and get on with it, too bad though
