[1.29]Window creation AV error for windows created in other packages |
#WINDOW seems to create the window in the main package, but you can create new windows via the UI in other packages. Doing so seems to produce a reproducible AV error but the window seems to otherwise be successfully created.
1)choose package other than main package
2)select New Window via New... button
3)choose window's options (no network connection, status bar, command line, etc)
4)AV happens, click close app
5)restart CMud
6)reopen session (I'm doing this offline)
For step #3, notice that the window seems to be properly created in terms of position in the settings tree (ie, at the root level). The error won't happen until you apply the changes, but after #6 you can grab the window via the Window menu and fix whatever problem arose. Looks as though it maybe might be the status bar/command-line options messing up the creation. |

Maybe I didn't quite get what you were describing, but I tried this and I didn't notice anything odd. Then again I was using Aqua theme, I almost 5 in the morning and I am tired.

I'm starting to think it's time for another round of reinstall. And I was just getting settled in, too!
