Can not use ANSI in Trigger
 
as the subject...

when i turn on the ANSI option and copy a line of word with color to the trigger then, the sequence like %e[xxm does not happen

i wonder what is wrong with it

the zmud i use is 7.21

ANSI codes aren't automatically parsed when you paste coloured text; the colour information is lost. You need to enter it manually.

That's not true, it's always pasted ANSI for me (as long as the ansi trigger option is set), and in fact the help file specifically mentions it.

The only thing I can think of is to make sure the ansi option is still set--specifically, if you have a multi-state trigger, multi-state triggers hate ansi and editing any state in a multi-state trigger tends to cause ansi to become unset for any states which were previously ansi. The workaround for this (in ZMud) is to either keep going back and resetting it, or give each state a single alias which it calls and then only edit the aliases.
