[1.20] Session Window Problem

OK, I have a session created and running... we'll call it Session A.

Now, I open the Sessions window (by clicking the Session button in the Toolbar) so I can create another Session.

I click New Session, enter a name, a host and port, and click 'Save and Close'.

Now is where it gets odd...

I select my new session (call it Session B), and click 'Edit Session' so I can go through and set all the extra properties. However, the moment that any activity occurs in the currently-open Session A window (which I can see in the background), the "Edit Session" window I'm currently in changes to editing Session A instead of B. I tried this multiple times to confirm the behevior.

Moreso, this occurs outside the "Edit Session" window. If I'm in the Sessions window and I have Session B selected, the title bar above says "Session B"... until some text comes in the Session A window, at which point it's replaced with Session A. I almost deleted my Session A because of this particular curiousity... but thankfully CMud wouldn't let me delete a session that was currently running.

Hope this is detailed enough to explain the bug.

Yep, thanks for the report. This is going to be a bit of a pain to fix...it requires some careful thought. What is happening is that the Sessions window is a "database editor" and is showing you the current Sessions database record. When one of your sessions gets activity, CMUD updates the database field for the session record associated with that window. This changes the current database record. I'll look into possible fixes for this, but it gets tricky.

Actually, I think I might have this fixed for 1.21.
