How do you save preferences? |
Ok. So far what I have got from reading the forum is that your triggers. aliase, variables and all that stuff is saved in the package. Ok. Got it.
So where the heck are your preferences saved?
I can't find anywhere in any of the menus that even refers to saving
preferences. I like Cmud so far however, I -really- dislike having
to set all my preferences everytime I start it up. Can anyone point me in the right direction? |

...it shouldn't be resetting your preferences. I believe preferences are saved in packages, too, and the main package of the session is the one whose preferences are being loaded. They should be saved automatically when you close the preferences window.
Are you using 1.17? Is it a fresh install? Are you using packages from before 1.17? What settings exactly are being reset? Fonts and colours, or something else? |

hmms.. I dont have that problem at all, although I dont know the answer to your question either.. even settings for my capture windows (fonts etc) always autosave.
Ive taken to backing up my entire char directory about every hour at the moment, if Im doing intensive script conversions or alot of general messing about. |

I am using 1.17. I have updated each version since 1.12
I even went as far as deleting my packing and starting all over. When I save my package it isn't saving any preferences at all. fonts/colors/color settings. |

Try deleting the whole CMUD folder and reinstalling from scratch. It's possible that another CMUD file was corrupted by an earlier beta and it hasn't been fixed by patching.
