Map question - Flatting all levels to one. |
Is it possible, and ifso how do I, flatten all my levels, to be displayed on level 0. Trying to make an overview picture, of the map in its entirity... Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you,

The only way to do this that I know of is to make your map single-level from the start. You can accomplish this by manually creating links between rooms and then changing the link to up/down rather than a cardinal direction.
Better handling of flat maps is definitely something I'd love to see in CMUD's mapper next year. |

The easiest way to do this is open the map in an external database program and use an update query on the Z field of the rooms. Simply setting them all to 0 will flatten the map. Of course you would then have move bunchs of things around to make the map readable.
